When we started Gotta Try It 5+ years ago, the weight of “on camera” didn’t hit right away. Maybe we were naïve and didn’t think that part through? Maybe ignorance was bliss? After all, we hadn’t worked in social media and certainly didn’t have a background in content creating or influencing.
If we really think about it, being “on camera” didn’t seem so heavy because that wasn’t what Gotta Try It was all about. Sure, videos and photos would be the communication and connection to a growing community, but it wasn’t the heart of Gotta Try It. Creating a trusted resource for women 40+ was the true heart.
Flash forward and endless thanks to growth, we’ve continued to educate ourselves and fortunately crossed paths with people who help us navigate the world of video and content creation.
