We’ve been getting to know “Gina” aka YOU for years now.
Our first “meet cute” might have been on Instagram.
For over five years, we’ve been building our Gotta Try It community. Not soon after we started the GTI journey we named our follower “Gina”. We wanted to be sure to keep her front of mind. We love Gina and think about her every day, sometimes all day. What does Gina want? What is Gina looking for today? Is Gina ready to try a bathing suit on or would she rather do a deep dive into jeans? Gina needs a great neck cream. Gina needs easy, go-to recipes. Is Gina having trouble sleeping too? You get it. You are Gina!
Now, while most everyone is a solid Gina…kind, responsive and polite…every so often we come across some Reginas and once in a blue moon there’s even been a GIna (rhymes with China). We try our best to be patient with the Reginas and simply ignore the GInas. We share what we love with Gina, what we think is worth her time and money and most importantly, sharing ways Gina can live her 40+ life looking and feeling her best. We pride ourselves on being authentic and real with Gina, but felt like there was an element of PC we had to adhere to. We don’t want to scare Gina off. Like most new friendships the curtain is pulled back in order to get to know one another but there’s still more to show until you’re comfortable. The cussing, tea spilling and confessions are still a bit hidden. We’re pulling back the curtain now and fully exposed to all the Ginas here on our Substack. Welcome!

We’ve talked to many of you in the DMs, voice notes or in person when we bump into each other in the wild. Those exchanges are more unedited conversations. Our Substack will be like that!
